SAS Analyst

As a SAS Analyst you will:

Perform analysis using SAS software on many areas of the companys business, from Prospect, to Customer, to Collections. You will also analyze demographic, firmographic, geographic, and time-series data. Results from these analyses will be presented in a highly-visual, easy-to- understand way and will often utilize animation and cutting-edge visualization methods and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Crunch data using SAS. The data will be used to create insightful visualizations to be shared with the team.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses using SAS with a focus on data integrity and meeting or beating deadlines.
  • Support other Team member’s needs for information from the warehouse.
  • Build and maintain SAS data marts when necessary.
  • Implement new visualization technologies where applicable.
  • Help advance information visualizations throughout the company
Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Preferably in a quantitative discipline such as economics, finance, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or computer science.
  • Five or more years experience in Database Marketing, Marketing Science, Forecasting or Marketing Analytics. Three years minimum experience in the use of SAS for tasks such as data manipulation and reporting.
  • High proficiency with Excel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers and senior managers.
  • Highly motivated, flexible, and adaptable to meet deadlines, objectives and goals.
  • Demonstrated experience working cross functionally with various departments within an organization

Reporting and Programming Analyst        70K + 10% bonus

We are currently looking for a Reporting and Programming Analyst to join our Credit and Marketing Analytic team at our beautiful 180 acre campus located just outside of Philadelphia. The position will be part of Credit and Marketing Analytics, with primary focus on in-house data collection, reporting, and analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily data management for analytical, ad hoc and automated reporting purposes for various functional areas.
  • Communicate with business leaders, insights gained through the data analysis, including implications for business strategy.
  • Report results of quantitative analysis and prepare supporting materials for presentation to management.
  • Interact with various functional areas to accommodate reporting and ad-hoc data requests.
Required Skills
  • Bachelors degree or higher in quantitative discipline such as mathematics or statistics.
  • Knowledge of SAS, SQL, Visual Basic, Excel spreadsheet and Microsoft Office Applications.
  • One year experience performing database analysis in a business environment, preferably in credit cards or financial services.
  • Must have the ability to work successfully in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to maintain data integrity while completing multiple assignments under strict deadlines.
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot data issues needed.
